This ground level project features a custom shade structure off the garage in the side yard. The location adjacent to the 606 Trail provides a unique urban context.
The garage was transformed with synthetic turf, converting an unused space into a game and play area for the family. This functional addition extends the living space outdoors.
The curvilinear steel structure features perforated metal panels with a circular design that creates playful shade patterns as the sun moves throughout the day.
