Private Rooftop Spa Retreat
This 5th floor 675SF private rooftop was developed through extensive design, engineering and permitting work with Chicago Roof Deck.
The existing space was never built with a roof deck in mind, not to mention a luxury Jacuzzi. Reinforcement of the roof structure was necessary before any improvements could be made.
CRD developed an elegant design that maximized the limited square footage with the client's vision of a rooftop outfitted with a spa, waterfall shower, lounge area equipped with an outdoor tv & fire-pit.
A retractable fabric canopy offers flexibility for shade while also softening the space and defining the lounge & Jacuzzi area.
