Built-in grilling on a deck demands fire-safe construction: steel or masonry frames rather than wood, concrete board backing, proper ventilation to prevent heat buildup, and clearances from railings and overhead structures. We run dedicated gas lines through the building to your grill location—licensed, inspected, code-compliant work that lets you cook with confidence.
Our grill stations use materials selected for Chicago conditions: stainless steel and stone that handle snow, rain, and summer heat without deterioration. The island carries its own weight properly distributed on your deck structure, with non-combustible surfaces where the heat goes and weatherproof finishes everywhere else.
